Stella Liao, has extensive national and international accounting experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and became a professional accountant in 1990. She was then designated as a CGA and further, obtained her CPA designation.

Stella joined the real estate industry in 2004. Previously she was the controller of one of the most prominent developers in Vancouver. Stella has held the controller and CFO position with different companies including development companies, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Innovation based companies and high net worth family offices. In 2018 Stella founded Quest CPA Consulting Inc – a licensed professional accounting firm in North Vancouver.

Stella has been the CEO of Hera Investment Funds Inc since 2019. Adhering to the highest professional standards, Stella has been responsible to make safe, efficient, and informed MIC investment decisions leading to secure and profitable outcomes for Hera Investment Funds’ clients. Stella acts as the president of the Board of Councils for Canada Capital Study Association since 2020.

Afshin’s career spans leadership roles in technology, finance, banking, operations, consulting, marketing, and academia.

In April 2014, Afshin laid the foundation for Hera Investment Funds Inc, serving as its founder and inaugural CEO. With an astute focus on regulatory compliance and effective management procedures, he spearheaded the establishment of the company. Afshin also crafted the essential frameworks for underwriting, reporting, and corporate governance.

In January 2019, Afshin entrusted the CEO role to Stella Liao, confident in the company's continued success. He transitioned into the role of advisor for Hera Investment Funds, ensuring that his wealth of experience and insight remains integral to our growth and development. With Afshin's guidance, Hera Investment Funds has remained steadfast in its commitment to excellence and innovation for a decade and counting.

Afshin is currently a faculty member at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and University Canada West, instructing MBA students on Ethics, Digital Transformation, and Entrepreneurship.
